Painted Hills, Oregon 2 nights or 3?
I'm setting up some plans for the summer and am going to be stopping by Painted Hills in Central/Eastern Oregon. From reading info on the web they say it's tough to see it all in a day so I'm planning at least two nights. For those that have been there is there enough to see that staying a 3rd night is advisable? So, I'd have at least 2 full days and 1/2 days or so on either end. Or, is one full day with 1/2 days on either end enough?
It looks like it's kind of in the middle of nowhere so once you've seen the sights there's not much else to do. Of course, I want to make sure to see everything. Thanks for any advice.
