Definitely consider the monorail. If you could taxi/uber your way to the MGM, the monorail can take you to multiple destinations between the MGM and the old Sahara (I forget what it's called now). They're nice and air conditioned, and usually not very crowded. We're big fans of Uber. So easy to use and generally cheaper than a cab.
