Pass on Sleepy Hallow Campground in Akron, NY

Sleepy Hallow is rated 8, 9, 7 by Good Sam and this place doesn't deserve anything above a 5!. There seem to be updates being made to the place but nothing seems to be finished. The swimming "lake" is really a murky algae infested pond. Thank goodness we were only staying one night. The staff was nice and the curb appeal to the place has its merits. Once you drive in you start to see the place for what it really is. Good Sam needs to reevaluate this place and do it soon.
