I recently went through a thread on this, many helpful replies, summary seems to be you are going to get your money or more back. There will be hassles with restrictions, you are not going to get much in peak unless you ask and there happens to be empty sites, but the PA website summary of those restrictions is reasonably accurate.
The campgrounds do tend to be smaller, which may or may not be an issue for you (for me it can be an advantage, I prefer a site off to the side in the trees to site 364 on lane 6)
I am going to sign up, looks like no way to loose for me specifically. I will be traveling enough there seems little doubt I will get numerous nights out of it, indeed I already and looking at a place for 2 weeks in May and will save $17/night for everything but the May long weekend.
