- TrackrigExplorer IIShould look at some of the previous discussions.
It's like anything else, it's a good deal if you use it. We paid for the membership in a week even if we never use it again.
If you're going to try and use it during the high seasons and holidays, it probably won't work. If you're full timing or traveling for a couple of months at a time, you'll save money.
As the post progresses, you'll find about 2/3s of the responders think it's a good deal and the other 1/3 don't - what else is new.
Bill - doxiemom11Explorer IIGo to their website and see what campgrounds are along your expected route. If you can use the discount 3 times you will have your membership plus some back already. Cost is $44.00 year and like 1,800 campgrounds. Each can place their own limitations on dates of stay and/or length of stay so read the write up to see if they will work for you. You do not need to be a member to check out the campgrounds online.
- Kit_CarsonExplorerIt has worked well for us over the years. It is rare that a PA campground will be a destination campground but are great for overnight on the way to your destination. Enjoy!!!
- Iceman1777ExplorerIt worked so well for us we became Lifetime Members. Have saved a lot on overnight stops.
- owenssailorExplorerWe save money with PPA every winter.

Same here. PA now has an app that you can see your route and the participating parks along it. Tap on a park and see the data - bikendanExplorerAs was said, there are thousands of threads/posts about PA.
If you only camp summers, weekends and holidays, it's not for you.
If you're retired or camp weekdays or off-season, PA is well worth the cost.
We used ours for about 10 nights, on our recent 6 week trip. We saved more than what the PA membership cost us. - BumpyroadExploreruse it twice a year and it is paid for. Yes it is a good deal, just look up locations and restrictions on web site to see if it will work for you..
bumpy - Dutch_12078Explorer IIAs others have said, our PA membership more than pays for itself.
- junmy3ExplorerWe find it worthwhile, but we also travel 3-4 months of the year. One destination place that we have found that has several PA parks is Branson, MO. Definitely saved us money the two times that we were there.
