- TequilaExplorerGravel & dry is the reason I only lasted one season in Arizona. The following year I crossed the border south and for the last 6 years have never looked back. I also found Arizona too cold.
Here is another RV Park I spend a month at each year. You don't find this in Az. Its pretty remote, 20 miles to nearest town so I get a bit bored after a few weeks and there is usually only a few rigs in there..

Very nice. - SpleenstomperExplorerDom/Shar that is in Yuma, correct. My sister just moved from there-- she and BIL lived there for about 7 years. (he works for us customs and was on the boarder). They loved it, aside from July/August!

Fortuna Foothills?
Yes Foothills of Yuma, Az....gravel yes but we don't have to mow, or shovel snow. I had enough of that in Indiana.
Reason I asked is that I'm probably not far from you! Scheckert Estates, middle of golf course, near the southeast corner. - Don_SharExplorer

Boy, an awful lot of sites that just have gravel??
Not my cup of tea!!!
So where are your photo's of your winter snowbird digs? Would love to see those.
If you can afford it there is always the lush green state of Florida to snowbird in which you may enjoy more then the gravel of the brown states:
Behind the picture is a nice little fishing pond. In front of the drive is a well landscaped entrance to the lot. Down the road is a wonderful sandy beach.
What isn't "my" cup of tea is this in my home state of Northern MN!!!
Or flying into Michigan for Christmas to this: - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIOur vote is for the pics of Lost Dutchman State Park, Apache Jct., AZ. We LOVE that park - have even volunteered there. Huge sites with no park models to stare at...just that gorgeous mountain!
