Planing for summer 2015 Mount Hood
Need some help with campgrounds with full hookups in or around Mount Hood Oregon. We will be traveling the summer of 2015 with our disable grandson so we need campgrounds were we can make reservations...

As was said before it is the closest and best for touring MT Hood. There are some beautiful F.S. cgs closer on the mountain,but no hook-ups and for smaller rigs. Anything on the Columbia river is gonna be HOTttt in the summer and most of the state parks are full way in advance.
It's fun going up to MT Hood in the summer and riding the upper chair to the top of the run and seeing the ski teams practising. You can either ride it down or walk and it really gives you something of the feeling of having climbed at least part of it and the view is awesome.
