Please recommend a destination, for this week and next

Hello all :). I'm at a bit of a loss. We had planned to explore the Klamath River area, but it looks like it is still all smoky. The high sierras might be ok, but Yosemite is a bit farther south ...

We like the Redding CA area. Views of Mt Shasta. We stayed at Mountain Gate RV Park and it was nice. Great managers! JGW RV Park gets great reviews on www.rvparkreviews.com
Also Susanville CA more east has Merrill Campground at Eagle Lake and Susanville RV Park. Near Lassen National Forest. 86 miles to Reno.
