This is all very transparent and easy to discount if you choose. Same with the crabby lady in the office etc. I do have a few pet peeves of my own like the dousing sprinklers at a few campgrounds-complete with hard water. I even had a popup shoot water on the underside of my former trailer.
I've pulled into campgrounds without reading reviews and did fine by a quick glance. But I usually spend time reading reviews-can't hurt and I have the time. Some are even entertaining. I'm not on any schedule or in any rush.
