We've been to Pokagon a few times and think there are no bad spots anywhere. Some are in trees, some in full sun. If I remember, there is no water at the sites. It's a shared spigot, so you'll need to run a hose, fill your tank and then unhook it, or use the fill station.
No dumps on site either (as is common in Indiana). You'll need to use the dump station. So if you have a blue tote, you'll find it priceless, unless you don't mind breaking camp to transport your camper to the dump station.

And then search the web site on the reservation page to find see a photo or 2 of the actual campsite and how close to the bathhouse and water spigot the site is.
Then... make your reservation for that site!
