Anything one must see and/or do in the Port Angeles area around the end of April ? Great campground suggestions appreciated also.

- I'm very interested too. Just booked the Olympic Lodge for a few days in August. Looks like we'll be doing a loop starting in Seattle, going up to Olympic, over to Victoria, down to Vancouver, and back to Seattle. These suggestions have helped me as well.

If you have the extra time, I highly recommend driving from Victoria up to Comox and then take the ferry over to Powell River on the mainland. From there, drive down the Sunshine Coast via 2 more ferry trips to West Vancouver. The sights and scenery are truly outstanding and well worth it. (I know 'cuz I lived on Van. Island for 22 yrs and spent every summer as a child near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast.)
