Port Saint Lucie FL

Hello Everyone,
Will be traveling up the East Coast of Florida next week. Planning on stopping around Port St Lucie area. It would probably be just for a night or 2. Looking for full hookups. For a 36ft and 34ft motorhome. It doesn't have to be on the beach.
Thanks
Kim & Ed
  • Port St. Lucie RV Resort on Jennings Rd. Never stayed there cause it is close enough to walk to from my house but it always appears busy.
  • well, there is Phipps park not to far away...has water/electric on some sites...right on the canal.

Or very close to that there is the fed park, st. lucie south campground with just a handful of campsites...don't think they have sewer. Also on the canal and this would be my choice of the two but have stayed at both.

  • We stayed at the one on Jennings Rd, two years ago. The internet was poor. If it's a one night stop, it's fine. For any length of stay, I'd go somewhere else. It's almost like being in a parking lot, behind some self storage units or a mall or something. It is close to surrounding businesses.

Last year, we went a few minutes further north to Ft Pierce. Stayed at Treasure Coast RV Resort. It was VERY nice. We stayed there close to a week and really enjoyed it. People seemed friendlier than what we had encountered at Port St. Lucie. I'd go back to this one again.

If you have kids or grandkids who want souvenirs, there is The Shell Bazaar, 10100 S US 1, Port St Lucie. They have half decent stuff and the prices are better than a lot of other places. We took the GS to Sanibel/Ft Myers area. The prices down there were higher for the same things I had seen at the Shell Bazaar. I called over there to see if they had some of the things he wanted and they did, so we waited until we got there to get his "stuff".
