First off you have 12 month camping out of Tucson. Immediately nearby or southern CA. into southern TX winter huge range of opportunities.
It is far from just snowbird RV parks.
Secondly in summer you have a nice access to Flagstaff, White Mts, Bisbee, Mt. Graham, Rockies, Pacific coast, etc. etc.
You should have fun exploring a new area, and there is great stuff near and moderately distant.
