When we crossed at Peace Arch on April 15 we had frozen chicken from Arizona as well as eggs from the same state. We phoned prior to crossing to check to see if we could bring chicken in from Arizona, we were told that we could. When we reached the border we asked and explained what we were told, we still lost the chicken and eggs the reason being was that we had travelled through states where the ban was in effect. I thought that they might error on the side of caution so I wasn't terrible surprised.
