Private Member Owned Campgrounds - Califonia

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking into buying a campsite but I have only found one campground in California so far that sells camp sites. It's called Calaveras Timber Trails. It's located in Avery California.

I like the idea of being able to leave my travel trailer at my site all the time. I want to get a big rig but I don't want to get a big tow vehicle.

Does anyone know of any campgrounds in California that I can purchase a camp site?

Thanks
Jim

Hi Jim. We used to own a lot in Blythe California in a nice park called Ranch Ventana. You might want to google it and see what their site prices are. I still think they are going to be in the mid 20's though. Nice park close to a great golf course.

Outdoor Resorts and parks like it are essentially Country Clubs. Unlimited golf included in the monthly dues, world class Gym, tennis, 27 holes of golf, 9 swimming pools, restaurants, RV parts store, club houses etc etc etc. Its not for everybody Jim but scratches the itch for some. It's pretty easy to drop 100 grand plus on a nice golf course lot with a view. Some of the other resorts have high end lots upwards of 300,000 dollars. (Out of my pay scale).

Seems to me there was also a park down towards Mexicali that had sites under 20,000 but this was a few years ago.

Hope you find what you are looking for. Happy trails.

    John and Angela.
