Problems with bears and cougars....
Has anyone had any run ins with cougars and/or bears when boondocking? Have you even seen any come near your RV or campsite?

My wife and I ran into (almost literally) a mountain lion (cougar) on a trail while camping on Palomar Mountain in SoCcal. We mentioned it to a ranger later in the week and he said that in all the years he had worked there he'd never seen one.
Oddly, we have never seen a bear. Go figure.
