So go ahead and cheat, put a little extra wear and tear on the site. No one will know except you. Having fun is the most important thing. Be sure to check the rest of the rules to see which ons you don't want to follow.
I agree with you, and I feel it is cheating and yes I am breaking the rules. That is why I asked what I should do? I try and have always in general to my best knowledge followed the rules.

Can you not call the park, without giving your name and ask what the policy is?
You should not be afraid to ask a question of the rangers.
I am sure that question comes up often.
