The guy lied on the Liberian departure questionnaire re: being exposed to anyone with the ebola virus. The questionnaire was the only "screening", you know, because people are so trustworthy...
Only a matter of time the medication will be available to everyone? Sorta like when the US has a shortage of the flu vaccine?
My understanding is the medication takes time, a lot of time, to process. If this wasn't the case, the med would have been sent to Liberia in an effort to save thousands of lives. As it was, the two missionaries (?), med workers (?) were given the shots while still in the experimental stage, and not even close to being approved by the FDA.
