Quartzite Boondocking

Left Ramsey Mine Road this morning to head home, camping was wide open!!

Virgin Mobile Broadband $20 per month with no contract. Not as good coverage in many places as Verizon but much better than Verizon around Quartzsite and Bouse.

Might I ask what kind of internet service you are getting? Is it a myfi from verizon?

Last I heard it was 50 a month added to the ol' cell bill, but what's new?

how large of a rig can go in there? A huge motorhome, would it fit? :)

I have a straighttalk phone that uses Verizon towers...my goodness, the minute we go over that hill into Bouse...I lose it all. We know some people there, and for that week, we're out of touch totally lol

Too many squatters... Uncle Sam and Obama figure that if you can afford a big old motor home, it's time to tax you some more for redistribution to all the growing masses on food stamps. The Q and Las Vegas has a bum factor ratio that I've not seen in colder climates, come winter time. Frankly, it made me a little bit uneasy, have nots have a tendency to steal from the haves... Things like Honda Generators grow legs and walk off from their proper, rightful owners.

No this is an ongoing plague that the Sierra club got started. First it was off roading and now the rest of us are getting squeezed out.

Isn't that the truth? Last year I was on the Coast for a few days, We rented a house in Cambria, I drove under a huge pine tree and raked the vent cap off of my fridge. We went to Moonstone beach Bar& Grill and drove all around Cambria. When we got back to the House there was our vent cap hanging on a limb. :S

what happened to us once was not part of a movie, but could have been. We were laughing so hard, my husband could hardly drive. The black wasn't securely fastened when we left.
The 1st corner, in the rear view mirror....SLLLLOSH!!! all over the road. People backed off LOL we stopped obviously and fixed it, but what a mistake to make. The corners and a poorly latched black water tank :o Thankfully, it was on a back road, but there was a person behind us :o
