I wouldn't characterize the company as wanting to test out theories ... that's already been accomplished in their pilot plant in France.
A scaled up and improved version of the pilot plant's technology should be tried somewhere in the U.S.. A southwestern desert area would probably be ideal due to the requirement for hothouse heating of huge volumes of air ... essentially by the same amount of sun energy that would normally be hitting the surface of the ground under the hothouse anyway.
It's about time for somewhere in the U.S. to again/finally be leading in some green energy technology - as a complement to our current lead in non-green hydraulic fracturing. I just wish this heated air turbine plant within U.S. borders was being championed by a U.S. company.
