Someone needs to check my math, but I understand the output will be 100 MW. I don't know if that is peak or sustained, but that will still be less than 1 terawatt hour (Twh) per year. A terawatt hour sounds like lots of power and it is but not in relation to our real needs. Currently the annual US power consumption is about 29 Pwh. So the output of the solar plant would be 0.003% of our consumption. Or in other words we would need 29000 of these plants to handle current consumption.
But it's GREEN POWER, don't you understand?:C
