just arrived. Wonder if there will be a large influx of people soon. Seems to be a little sparse. We haven't gone out to Plomosa to look though, might be more out there. Sure is hot. Hotter than past...

One big problem staying anywhere north or south of town off of 95 is the traffic. It can be backed up for a mile or more in both directions on 95 with little movement for hours. if you are coming from Scadden Wash to the east it is a piece of cake to access downtown.
Another option is to stay at the Rice Ranch RV park. It is not much of a park but does offer full hook ups for around $35 and dry camp spots for $7. It is nothing but dirt and gravel but being located in the center of town right on 95 makes walking to the big tent and all of the other "show" attractions, a 3 minute event. We paid for the hookups last year but won't bother this year as we only stay for a couple of nights before heading up towards Parker/Havasu.
