Update: I've been checking the reservation systems (both USDA usedirect.com and Recreation.gov) a couple of times each day and early this morning I found a reserveable electric/water site at Canal (COE), which someone must have cancelled their reservation recently. My primary plan was LBL, but Canal seems nice and I've never been, so I'll get to check it out.
