IMHO if you are serious about getting into Fort Wilderness, or any high demand Disney Resort you need to work with a good Disney Travel Agent.
As of today if you booking online you can only book up to December 31 2019, however I am booked at a Resort through a TA for February 2020. Only agents can do that. Yes you can call but you're getting a call center, not an expert that you can deal with 1 on 1. Plus your TA can help with all the other in's and out's of WDW, Dining Reservations and FastPasses, at no cost to you. There are lot of Travel Agents but not all know the in's and out's of Disney. If Hilda knows her stuff, call her. If you want another recommendation feel free to PM me.
