MontanaCamper, thanks for the info, BUT (!), this is a National Forest campground named "Racetrack". Don't know how or why it is named that, but must have a great story.
It is located about halfway down between Deer Lodge and Anaconda, west of the freeway.
I guess I'm just looking for someone to tell us anymore info than can be seen on the NF website.
