Ravens at Grand Canyon

I've read several posts where it was mentioned that the Ravens at Trailer Village at the Grand Canyon will peck holes in the sewer hoses. Is this as common as it sounds, and do they do it to all types of sewer hoses? We have a trip to Trailer Village planned for September, and as of now, figure I'll keep the sewer hose stored until I need to dump the tanks. But if the Ravens are really not an issue, I'll just keep it hooked up.

Thanks,

Doug
  • I have not heard of them bothering sewer hoses, but friends parked their 5th wheel at a trail parking lot in the Everglades and went on a 2 hour hike. When they returned, their roof was torn to shreds by the birds. Damage was so extensive, they had to replace the roof and that necessitated new roof vents, etc. It was a big insurance claim. It was other people in the parking lot that alerted them to what had happened and very quickly.
