Just another related note regarding heading down the Eastern Shore to the Bridge/Tunnel: If you get delayed, and have to stop earlier, there are several campgrounds near the north end of the Bridge/Tunnel. The newest and nicest is the newly renovated KOA close to the Bridge. Pull through sites, full hookups, and brand new shower houses. Also a nice beach and view of the bay.
