if you get shutout, there are a number of great pa state parks in that area as well.
We booked for 3 nights, both times, and were on the lake. We were lucky so far. If I remember right, if you reserve a spot for lake front, you might not get a specific site, but still lake front. Keen Lake is family owned and run. Very nice to deal with.
