St Augustine and New Orleans RV parks
Planning our spring trip and plan to spend time in St. Augustine FL and New Orleans. Looking for RV park suggestions in both places. Jude RV park in NO looks like it might be OK (?)

We are in New Orleans right now staying at Richards RV Park in St. Bernard. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this is not that place but in searching for a place to stay while here I found it very difficult to find anything that we felt comfortable staying at so I expanded my search out to the outskirts of New Orleans and found this place. We decided that we would try this place for at least a night and see what we thought. We are still here. We have been here for 2 weeks, leaving today. It's a campground. About 60 sites. Sites are on grass. There are full hook ups here. 30 or 50 amp service, laundry facilities, No showers. Wi-fi is good closer to the office. It's very quiet here, I feel safe, The owner is very nice, very helpful, and really keeps an eye on the place. There are a lot of permanent residents here. They are workers that work on the refineries and pipeline here. We have not had one issue here. The weekly rate is $100.00. Nightly rate is $20. Downtown is a straight shot about a 15 minute drive on Hwy 39 (Bayou Rd), the road the park is on. While we have been here we drove around to a bunch of the other RV parks around and we are very glad that we are here. I have not stayed at any of the other parks here so I am only giving my opinion here. The group of Parks located near the CVS switching yard I was reluctant at staying because of the train noise which as previously posted was verified plus not in a very good part of town. (Jude RV Park, etc.) The French Quarter RV might be very nice inside the gates but it is also not in a very good part of town. It is right next to Interstate 10 and the main hospital and have you seen their rates? Wow!!
