Recomendation for rv park near Lincoln, NM

We will be touring White Sands and Lincoln area. All the Lincoln national forest campgrounds I find, have no electricity. The park the park ranger told me the Oliver Lee State Park would be very hot in July. So, I guess I am looking for private rv park anywhere in that area. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Also, if there are any attractions we should not miss. We plan on touring the town of Lincoln and White Sands. Three Rivers petroglyph. Thanks

    Valley of Fires.

I love Valley of Fires, but the OP will be in NM during July. It will be hot enough to melt the lava fields again...
  • Bonito Hollow has full hookups and trees, and is at higher altitude so it is much cooler. We overnight there when going through the area.
  • We always stay at Circle B in Ruidoso, NM. It isn't far to drive to Cloudcroft (beautiful village), Alamogordo and Lincoln. We usually spend a day in Cloudcroft, a day in Alamogordo area, and about 1/2 day in Lincoln. Circle B is a nice place and they have a nice store and a large RV repair business with lots of parts! We love this area!
  • We really liked

  • I would suggest staying a night or two in each area. Check out RVParkReviews site. Here's the link on Alamogordo near White Sands. Also, Oliver Lee Memorial State Park has electric.

Then move to either the Ruidoso area which has a lot of parks and is higher in elevation and cooler.

Three Rivers Petroglyph BLM park also has campsites with electric.
