Recommendations for Minocqua WI

Heading to Minocqua WI next September after Labor Day. Am interested in people's recommendations for places to stay ... either RV Campgrounds or State/Local Parks.

Need water & electricity and eventually ... a place to dump the tanks.

    Minocqua, brings back childhood memories. Haven't been there for 40 years. ;-(

    Any one aware of any state (or similar) parks nearby that offer hookups ... even just electric as long as fresh water and a dump station are available?

    It seems most of the gov't sponsored/run parks are "primitive" without amenities.

    We stayed at Arbor Vitae Campground right on Big Arbor Vitae Lake, we enjoyed our stay there. It's fairly close to Minocqua and has everything you require.

    Lots of nice places in the area. We really liked Indian Shores on Tomahawk Lake.
