Getting into Bonham's camping area is a little tricky. From the campground road to the sites is a fairly steep drop. I made it in there OK with the 30' fifth wheel I used to have but the one I have now would be kind of iffy.
Since you are close to Denton take a look at Hickory Creek COE park. Great campsites right on Lake Lewisville. If you look at my photolink you'll find lots of north TX state parks and pictures of individual campsites that we liked.
You might also want to look at the North Texas Camping Association website on Yahoo groups. Nice group of people that do monthly campouts.
