When a campground tells you it is fine to arrive after they close (due to extenuating circumstances ....) and then cancels the rest of your reservation and treats you nasty in the process - NOT A GOOD Business practice. It is obvious that my comments sparked some negativity in some people in this particular forum - let's hope the owners take to heart what happened and consider how they treat people in the future - reputation depends on it.

Looks like I am not the only one they treated badly ...

You keep forgetting that you DID NOT ARRIVE that evening. Should parks just keep charging people who do not arrive day after day? Should this policy be extended to all businesses? Say you don't arrive for your 7PM reservation at a restaurant. Should they keep your table open and charge you for meals? You had ample opportunity to tell them your situation and keep the remainder of your reservation, but you didn't.
And there isn't a business on the planet that doesn't have a bad review somewhere.
