Red Apple Campground - Kennebunkport, ME

First off I am sorry you had travel troubles, always hate to see campers on the side of the road but when we are towing it is usually impossible to pull over and help without causing more problems. I understand that you called once and my guess is when your situation changed a second call would have taken care of things. I understand that you were in a bad place and thought your site was safe but lesson learned here. I am with others in thinking I would have made a few calls to see if there was any other campgrounds with openings, there are plenty in the area.

As for Red Apple, sorry they were rude, does not seem like them but I guess anyone can have an off day. We camped there this year for the first time and loved it and found them to be very nice.
