So I read that the OP first called the park at 8 PM and was told that they could arrive after hours. The OP then experienced a second blowout and concentrated on that instead of calling the CG obviously after hours.
So then the OP calls well before checkout time the next day and his spot is already given away. So yeah, chastise the OP - nothing surprising about that on here.
The CG could have waited until past checkout time to give the spot away. If they had done so, the OP most likely would have been able to pay with a credit card. But as Mr. brick wall CG owner says, business is business.
It would be nice if this CG and posters here could have had just a little more compassion for the OP's situation. Hope none of you have to experience it - well, maybe not.
