These are great. I liked Juniper Springs and Alexander Springs the best I think it was about $11/night if you are a senior. You can swim, snorkel, or dive the springs all year round. There is a shooting range and fishing nearby.
I didn't do a comprehensive search yet, but are there CGs in the forest that have electric and water hookups? Or should these be visited with th eidea of boondocking? Would love to snorkel in a spring.
. They are dry camping , however salt springs CG has hook ups. If you like to free dive many of these springs are less than 50 ft deep and you can enter the head of the spring.
