We stayed in Carson City 4 months before we moved up to Reno. We stayed at Camp N Town and I would recommend that rv park. It has good access, flat wide sites, laundry, showers & bathrooms. It could use some updating but is just fine. The Comstock RV park is located at a very busy intersection and IMHO, not so great sites. The ones that are open and easy access are close to Carson St/Hwy 395 and are noisy (see rv park reviews). The sites that are further away from the road have tight turns and low tree limbs. There is also Silver something rv park in Minden, it's out on the plain of Carson Valley and windy. Gold Ranch RV park is expensive and very tight sites. If you are just passing through there is a small lot behind the Carson Nugget that is free or low cost with no hookups but nothing over 34' would fit.
