Bear in mind the season, if you have that luxury. Severe weather is more common in the spring and early summer. This may include tornados, high MPH straight line winds, and large hail. I sat through a watch for these just yesterday and let me tell you it is very scary. It's also a little early if you want things to look spring like. It still looks more like autumn or winter. I'm not sure about what weather is typical in late April or May but it would be prettier from the standpoint of new growth.
