Rest Area / Truck Stop Etiquette

Well, as the original poster of this thread... I am always impressed not only with the responses but by the unsolicited advice that is given... It's like eating chicken, you pick the meat off, and leave the bones on the plate. However, I did get a very good "piece of meat" from this thread (in addition to the advice pertaining to the original questions). And that is the recommendation to use Campendium.com. I have already changed one of my planned stops so that I wont be using the Pilot Truck stop, but rather staying in a free RV lot at one of the Casinios on my route. I still plan for two overnight stops at Walmarts along the way... but both allow RV parking, and I am confident I will be able to find a suitable spot out of the way that will meet my needs just fine. In the mean time I am adding Campendium to my list of resources along with RVParkReviews, RVParky, and of course... this forum.
