Rest Areas in Pa.

Pocono area rest areas have had murders over the years.

Technically (i.e legally), no. In reality, yes. I actually talked to state troopers about this. They said the rule will only be enforced if abused and that they would much sooner have someone pull off than to fall asleep at the wheel.

We have stayed at the casino a few times. No problems at all. Does anyone know if there is water at the rest areas to fill our RV.

there is a rest area just north of hazelton on rt81 it fills up with trucks after dark fast. there is a Walmart in wilks barre just off 81 you could stay at easy off easy on

I've never seen a State Trooper roust anyone from a rest area.

4 hours MAX. It's illegal to park longer than 4 hours.

I see truckers doing it all of the time at the welcome center in PA on 83 near the Maryland border.
