Welcome back Charlie. Renting is a great idea to see if you still are interested in the life style. I would do a quick google search for "RV for rent" and see what you find. Yes it could be a bit more than you expected with all the incidentals that might drive up the rental cost. But probably still a heck of a lot cheaper than buying just to experiment.
