RGV

DW and I hope to move to the RVG in about September or October. My question is arriving that late how hard will it be to find a decent RV park to get into. We have no experience at this at all any help we can get would be greatly appreciated.
  • You will have no problem at all with over 400 parks to choose from. Prices ranging from less than $200. A month to about $900. A month. Less choices in the high range many in the low to middle price range.
  • When you get there don't forget to turn on the lights for the rest of us. :B

All kidding aside, you should have no problems. If anything, it may seem a little hot to you depending on what you're use too. If it is, many that are inland head to South Padre Island to escape the heat.

Um.... where or what is RGV? It's quite obvious I've never been there.

  • There are hundreds of parks. There will be space no matter when you come. Our park has a big influx right after Christmas, but until then there is plenty of space. The RGV is a big area that extends from Brownsville up past Mission and beyond. That is probably where the greatest concentration of RVers are. So there are several areas and the weather will vary a bit. So come on down and find a spot. . .rent for a few weeks and if you want something different, move on and explore the whole region.

  • Chances are in September you’ll be there all by yourself.
