- ronfishermanModeratorLots of parks in the RGV. Pick one. Stay a few days while you find one you like. Victoria Palms is a good place to start.
- daily_doubleExplorerAgree with Ron, don't lock into one right away until you get a chance to look around. Victoria Palms is kinda in the middle of the valley so you can go in any direction from there.
- admiral0647ExplorerDon't be surprised if some of the better parks are already full for the season.

I just stayed at Victoria Palms. It "was" an excellent RV park. Now, it is almost entirely park model dwellings for seasonal residents. We had a very undesirable space located between two park models. I have erased this park from my list. - sgtpp214ExplorerDepends on what you are looking in the way of amenities and cost. We are leaving for Oleander Acres 2421 So. Conway Ave Mission, TX on Monday. Club House, no pool or tennis court, but lots of friendly people. This is our 6th yr there. Best advice you have received is stay at a park for a month and check out the area parks. Mission, TX itself has 40 parks. Good luck and if you do show up at Oleander ask for the Cheesehead.
