- HappyCamper89ExplorerI have not been to this campground but it seems to be on or very near the trail. I think it's fairly new.

Cheaha State Park would be an option for the area of the Ladiga but it's about 45+ minutes away from the trail. It's a nice state park located on the highest point in Alabama. - Saint_AugustineExplorerThanks much. I've checked out the link and it looks great. Can't find the rates so I've emailed Mr. Fagan. Thanks again.

It appears to be a great place so I do look forward to staying there some time in the future.

Unfortunately, Mr **bleep**an shut down his campsite. Our new Chief Ladiga Trail RV Park will be opening in the Spring of 2024.
- jaycocamprsExplorerThe Rock in Rockmart GA. I spent a week there this spring while working in the area, nothing fancey but it's quite. It's between the Coot's Lake and Van Wert trailheads. I think you can access it from the road across GA-113 from the campground, but do not know that as fact.
- Saint_AugustineExplorerThanks. They do not have rates published but I will call and check it out.

And 1 poster on RV Park Reveiws said they didn't take Credit Cards so I took cash. It was clean and quite and that was all I needed for the week.
- houstownExplorerWe have stayed at the Chief Ladiga Trail Campground and think it is a great place. Notwithstanding the lack of water and electricity at each site, the campground has a great new bath house/restroom. You can fill your tank at the bath house. Plenty of room and not crowded. The Chief Ladiga runs along the back of the campground. Its a good ride west to Piedmont, Jacksonville, and Anniston and a few miles east to the start of the Silver Comet at the Ga. line. Beautiful at night since there is certainly no light pollution where it is located. From the campground you can bike the Chief Ladiga, hike the Pinhoti and kayak the Terrapin creek. Wish I was there now.....

Unfortunately, the owner closed this campground
- GREGORYJExplorerWe stayed at this full service campground ,http://www.cityofgadsden.com/index.aspx?NID=142 in Gadsden and drove by car to the bike trail each day, usually starting at a mid point like Piedmont.
Great bike trail. - DrWadeExplorer
Our RV Park will be opening in the Spring of 2024 at the start of the Chief Ladiga Trail in Anniston on Weaver Rd
