- kknowltonExplorer IISo - where'd you end up?
- kknowltonExplorer IIMassacre Rocks is a nice SP but pretty far from IF. Depends on how close the OP needs to be to town. If 45 miles will serve, there's a KOA in Pocatello. Not the best CG but adequate & has nice scenery. Open all year. They've got plenty of sites this week (we drive by them frequently).
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIMassacre Rocks State Park is very, very nice.
- fredbonExplorerWe have stayed at Snake River RV for years going to YNP. While it's not a resort, it's a very nice campground, with many services.
fred - bobsallyhExplorer IIWe never stay in IDF proper. We always use the North Bigham County RV park in Shelley. Nice place and a poster above referred to it.
- EurocamperExplorerIt's 20 miles outside of Idaho Falls, but much better than anything in town.
Heise Hot Springs and RV Park - j3ff9ackExplorerThere is one RV park in Idaho Falls - Snake River RV Park http://www.snakeriverrvpark.net/
If they are full or you want other options, here are a few ideas:
http://www.co.bingham.id.us/parks_recreation/north_bingham_park.html - a county park about 15 miles south of the city.
http://www.rvparklist.com/rvpark/12304/ - this is located at a truck stop about 5 miles south of the city so it won't be scenic or quiet, but for $10/night with 50 amp electric, it's a good deal.
http://www.co.bonneville.id.us/index.php/parks-and-recreation/summer-recreation - about 15 miles north of the city - another county park. - rv2goExplorer IIDoesn't look you have many choices. Rvparkreviews.
You could stay at the Walmart. I-15 exit 118 to Broadway, turn right on Broadway to Utah. Turn R on Utah to Walmart on R. Big lot, easy parking. Parking is OK, but I always ask. - DesertHawkExplorerWe stayed a few days at Massacre Rocks State Park some years ago. But isn't as near to Idaho Falls as I thought.
10 miles W of American Falls, ID
36 miles W of Pocatello, ID
83 miles W of Idaho Falls, ID
Very neat place.
Massacre Rocks State Park is located off of I-86 at exit #28, 10 miles west of the city of American Falls, Idaho.
