RV Park in Myrtle Beach and Charleston

You said eastern before nad I was thinking western...duh...my bad...

We are boaters and already rented a pontoon and golf cart and are staying right next to barefoot landing so I think we will be fine. Also, we live in eastern pa so we will ate gonna go out and around Harrisburg.

I think it would be a waste to go to Myrtle Beach and be confined. There is so much to offer there. Shopping, eating, the beach....Without a car you mill great food from Murrels Inlet and Calabash....

How far east in Pennsylvania? Are you looking at going through DC? If you are over near Pittsburgh, then why not come down 79-64-77 way? Much more picturesque and less crowded.

If at Ocean Lakes, you can head out the park out the south gate or the sales center. There is a side road there that you can use to go that way and use the parking lots, etc. I have also seen golf carts crossing 17. The rental golf carts from Ocean Lakes can't be taken out of the park.

Recommend renting a car as well.

We love Ocean Lakes but October is becoming a very busy month for them as they are up to 3 Weekends of Halloween activities as they are filling them up(just under 900 sites). I am told by the 70+ age group (back in July) those weekends are addictive.

Since you are new. I believe after to try this for a few times, You will prolly change your mind about a toad. there are pitiful few places where you can go and see anything without transportation. Without transportation you severely limit what you can do what you can see. I can't see driving several hundrdowntowned miles to the beach, and not being on it, or going to Charleston, and not being able to see all of it. We were just there Labor Day. There is so much to see, and it is not all downtown. And if you have tom leave town by 4. You gonna miss that dinner with wine

Wow! Thank you riven1950! I think Briarcliffe may be the spot for us! We are actually boaters and even though we are not bringing our boat, we would prob still love to be on the intercostal. My son was there recently and are dinner in that area every night. Does anyone know if you can rent small boats back there? Our dog is even named Marina because she is a boater too! LOL! If you can walk along the intercostal, that would be awesome!
