RV park on I20 or I10 near Pecos, TX?
We're poking along heading toward Arizona and we thought a comfortable day would end up around Pecos, TX. We're having a hard time finding any RV parks in that area. We've looked as far east as Odessa...

We just came thru that area and had the same problem. We ended up staying at the Walmart in Midland ( very busy and noisy from I-20). We stopped in Pecos for gas and that was even worse - it took us at least 1/2 hr to exit, drive 1/2 block and get back out and on I-20 again. Most of the rv parks around there are now renting on a monthly basis to the oil workers and have stopped taking overnight guests. You could try freecampsites.net to see if there is anything.
