- Medicine_Man1ExplorerEycom,
Thanks for the info. I talked to the people in Sopchoppy today and it seems to fit the bill real well. - EycomExplorerMyron B. Hodge City Park in Sopchoppy, Fl has in the neighborhood of 14 to 16 FHUs and 10-12 W&E sites for $15/night... all the same price. W&E sites are generally along the river's edge with shade trees and the FHUs are along the fence line in a more of an open area close to the road (Park Ave.). The bath house is a bit dated but gets you by if you are without sewer hookup. Speaking of which, there's a dump station at the other end of the park on Park Ave.
Sopchoppy is a small quiet town. The IGA grocery store is quite small and you'll find better selection and prices at Winn Dixie or Walmart in Crawfordville. Outside of the locals, the park isn't very well known. I've stayed there numerous times, the last in Nov for about a month. It's about 13 miles to Crawfordville, takes about 15-20 mins. The City will take reservations. Safe travels. - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerHoliday Campground at Panacea is about the closest with full hookups unless you go to Tallahassee.
There is a state park but 30 amp and no sewer. Ochlockonee River State Park - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerHoliday Campground at Panacea is about the closest with full hookups unless you go to Tallahassee.
