Plus one man's meat is another mans poison; I strongly disliked Bayley's in Maine while other people rave it. I detest 700 space commercial campgrounds with hundreds of wilding children unwatched.
And I don't care if a place calls itself a resort if they don't charge for stuff they don't have.
If its clean, spacious and quiet or has a visual feature like a lake, stream or vista and its $25 a night; call yourself a resort. Better than a real resort with a golf course, clubhouse, pool and tennis courts I won't use for $50.
Part of the fun of RV'ing is it is an adventure. You buys your tickets and you takes your chances.
I agree many county and city parks are great. I also think reserveamerica is a terrible trend.
