RV Parks around Vancouver, WA

We are traveling to Vancouver, WA in October for a business/pleasure trip. The business side of the trip will be in Brush Prairie. I have looked at the RVParkReview site and Passport America Parks and know that there are a few good parks available. So we will be well served in that regard. But, does anyone have a favorite park in close proximity, perhaps even a hidden gem not found in the mainstream advertizing? Will need all the usual hookups. Thanks
  • Battleground lake SP is a nice park within 6 miles or so of Brush Prairie. I would rather stay there then several of the other places mentioned. And it will be pretty quiet in october.
  • Both of the parks that are owned by the same folks are kind of tight to get around in. One is the Van Mall and the other is Vancouver 99 rv park. I have stayed at both and the Van Mall folks had already closed their office prior to the 5 PM closing and and had no directions on what to do for finding a site,so I just found one and pulled into it. The security guy came around and told me that I couldn't stay in that site as it was reserved for the next day and I'd have to take another.I was all set up,so I pulled out and found one that I could hardly get into and was hanging out on both ends. I just rolled into the trailer and headed for bed. The next AM I found they wanted $60 for the site as the security guy had written down that I had been in the larger site. I said no-way and they could come check where I was and I wouund up paying for the cheaper site.
  • Thanks to all of you... all of the ones you mentioned popped up in my search, but without first hand knowledge it is hard to choose. The reviews on RVparkReviews run the range of "great" to "horrible" even as they describe the same park. Thank you for your replys.
  • I am living a couple of miles from there now, and will want to hang on to this advice. Just making a post to subscribe to the post.

I stayed at Fairview RV park in Fairview Oregon, more for the ability to work nearby, nothing significant about that park, but the staff was friendly. It was also close to the Camping World off of I84, just east of Portland.

  • We usually stay at 99 RV park which is near the junction of I-5 and I-205 and is right on hwy 99. We've always enjoyed our stay and they are passport America.
  • Vancouver Mall RV park is probably the closest park to Brush Prairie. Just off 205 in Orchards. About 7 mies south of Brush Prairie.
  • I have stayed at "Tri Mountain RV Park". It is located just off I-5 at Ridgefield. Telephone 360 887-8983. I beleive they weekly and monthly rates.
